Journey from Lake Como into the Swiss Alps for an unforgettable private day combining the spectacular Bernina railway, dramatic mountain scenery and elegant St. Moritz.

- Full day — approximately 11–12 hours. Because of the distances involved, an early morning departure is recommended.
- Group size
- 1–7 guests at the standard private rate. Private groups of up to 20 guests can be arranged on request, with a suitably sized vehicle and a tailored quote.

- Pickup and return at the guest’s accommodation in Como or the Lake Como area. Other pickup locations can be arranged on request.
- When it runs
- Selected dates throughout the year, subject to railway schedules, weather conditions and private transport availability. The exact departure time is confirmed when booking, with an early morning departure generally required.
This full-day experience takes guests from Lake Como into the Swiss Alps, combining one of Europe’s most scenic railway journeys with time in famous St. Moritz.
Guests travel by private chauffeured vehicle towards Tirano, where we board the train for the spectacular journey along the Bernina route.
Along the way, guests experience extraordinary Alpine scenery, with mountain landscapes, lakes, valleys and some of the most memorable views in Switzerland.
We continue to St. Moritz, where we explore the elegant resort town and enjoy some free time for photographs, shopping, coffee or simply taking in the atmosphere.
Throughout the day, I accompany the guests as their private licensed guide and host, taking care of the itinerary and logistics and sharing stories about the landscapes, communities and history of the region.
The exact route and order of the day can be adapted according to seasonal train schedules and conditions.

Not included, and what to bring
- Meals, drinks, shopping and personal expenses are not included unless specifically stated in the booking.
- Guests should bring a valid passport or appropriate travel document for entering Switzerland, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and clothing appropriate for Alpine conditions.
- Because temperatures in the mountains can be significantly different from Lake Como, guests should bring layers and a warm or waterproof jacket when appropriate.
Who it’s suitable for
- Ideal for couples, families, mature travelers and small private groups looking for an exceptional full-day experience beyond Lake Como.
- The day is long but does not require strenuous hiking. Guests should be comfortable with an extended day involving road travel, train travel and some walking.
